Western Sales Truck and Tire is looking for a Parts Specialist at our Rosetown location at 405 Highway 7 West

Job Summary
This position is responsible for identifying, sourcing and supplying parts for customers and service technicians while delivering professional service and supporting the efficient operation of our parts department.


Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the parts counter, over the phone, and through electronic communications.
  • Identify customer needs and provide timely, accurate parts solutions that support equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Support service technicians by providing timely and accurate parts information and availability.
  • Receive, inspect, stock and organize inventory.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities.
  • Maintain accurate parts records and documentation
  • Prepare and maintain parts displays, merchandising areas and promotional materials.
  • Actively support sales initiatives, product promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Complete all work in accordance with company policies and safety standards.


Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Previous experience in parts sales, inventory control, customer service or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of truck, trailer, automotive, agricultural or heavy equipment parts is considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and parts management software.
  • Ability to learn and navigate electronic parts catalogues and inventory systems.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence.

  • Problem Solving - Ability to identify customer requirements, research parts information and recommend practical and cost-effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork / Collaboration - Collaborate with service technicians, parts personnel and management to support customer needs and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
  • Flexibility/ Adaptability - Working extended hours during the busy seasons.
