Western Sales Truck and Tire is looking for Service Technicians at our Rosetown location at 405 Highway 7 West.
This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucks, trailers, and related equipment while delivering safe, efficient and professional service to our customers.

• Time Management – Effectively manage workload and prioritizes tasks to meet customer needs, shop schedules and seasonal demands. Maintain productivity while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and on time.
Job Duties:
- Diagnose, repair and maintain highway trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other system concerns.
- Meet with customers to discuss equipment concerns and repair requirements.
- Complete walk-around inspections with customers when required.
- Use diagnostic tools, testing equipment and service information to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Repair or replace defective, worn or damaged components.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service work.
- Test and verify repairs to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Accurately record labour, parts and service information on work orders.
- Maintain detailed technician notes and complete required service documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Support apprentice technicians through on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Complete all work in accordance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Possess Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's licence.
- Experience repairing and maintaining highway trucks, trailers or related equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems.
- Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs using manufacturer service procedures and specialized tools.
- Experience using diagnostic software and computer-based service systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Heavy-duty technician certification is considered an asset.
